Bir tarafta oyunculuğuna, ötesinde duruşuna, fikirlerini ve hayata bakışını yansıtma tarzına çok büyük hayran olduğum bir oyuncu Kubilay Aka, diğer tarafta gördüğüm anda enerjimi yükselten, yaptığı her işe kendini katan çok yetenekli Aslı İnandık. İşte fazla çok şey oluyor… Bir aile masasında Şenay Gürler’in tüm güzelliği ile kontrolcü bir anneyi, Şerif Erol’un tüm yeteneği ile muhtemelen demans başlangıcındaki babayı canlandırdığı, Şükran Ovalı’nın sevgilisinden yaşça büyük, ekonomik olarak düşük bir kız arkadaşı canlandırdığı ve Eray Karadeniz’in 2 farklı rolle sahneyi değiştirdiği bir oyun bu. Herkes birbiri ile farklı çatışmalar içinde ve herkesin alnından terler akıyor…

On stage, a fully fledged dysfunctional family unfolds. A waiter, a paramedic, and a girlfriend perched at the edge of the table. This is the world that Fora offers its audience.
On one side stands Kubilay Aka, an actor I deeply admire not only for his craft but for his presence, his perspective, and the way he expresses his worldview. Opposite him is Aslı İnandık, whose energy is instantly uplifting, a performer who brings her whole self into every role she inhabits. When these two come together as siblings, the result is nothing short of explosive. And indeed, it is. At the family table, Şenay Gürler embodies a strikingly poised yet controlling mother, while Şerif Erol portrays a father seemingly on the brink of dementia with quiet precision. Şükran Ovalı appears as a girlfriend older than her partner and economically disadvantaged, and Eray Karadeniz shifts the rhythm of the stage through two distinct roles. Each character is entangled in their own conflicts, and the tension is almost tangible, beads of sweat forming as relationships fray.
Who among us is unfamiliar with such charged dynamics at the dinner table? Written by Hikmet Hükümenoğlu, directed by Mert Öner, and produced by Luz Creative, Fora brings to the stage the very scenes we have lived through, heard about, or witnessed ourselves. In doing so, it invites us to confront our deepest familial fractures, laying them bare in the most familiar of settings, the shared table.
